It is the state of someone who is "functioning at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioral adjustment" That is the definition of mental health on Wikipedia. Most of what you search , on the internet is all factual and scientifically proven but the psychological factor is often left out. So in simple words mental health is the limit of stress a person can cope up with. Past, present, future. a memory, the situation and expectations. These three, respectively affect a person's mental health.
